Tell us about your mechanic: My dad is my mechanic; also Chad of Champion MX helps me out a lot. What is Shannon like and how has he helped? Shannon is funny, he is dedicated to training. Shannon helps me with training and how to perfect my technique and form. He is making me faster. What is a typical day for you? I train, have 4 hours of home school, and ride as long as I can. What do you do to get hyped and ready for your next moto? I watch races before and listen to music. Do you do any other crossover sports? Wakeboarding. If you had to pick any other sport to be pro at, what would you pick? Basketball.
Favorite joke: NA What are your goals for 2005? To get as many championships as I can. Give us a rundown of your most accomplished goals of the past few years: 2nd at LLs this year, riding for Yamaha.

From the Parents What is Terren's strongest trait? In racing - consistency and starts. Describe his personality: He's a perfectionist, very happy; Terren can always make you laugh. He makes friends everywhere that he travels. What one thing have you tried to teach him: Patience. How has the sport of motocross help bring you family closer? Sharing the sport of motocross has kept out family stay close to each other by being able to enjoy the fun and exciting moments, along with the work and stress that is involved also. We will never give up on his dream. What do you hope the sport brings to him? Discipline, hard work, and the confidence in himself to become a pro athlete. Tell us about your most memorable road trip: Our trip to Lake Whitney, it was our first trip with out new fifth wheel. We had a great time! Lance came, too. He helps us out a lot. It was good to see the Niday's there, our girls are close. Sheila is a great friend and Shannon brings a lot of confidence to Terren. Do you have any advice for other parents who plan to take part in the sport the way that you have? Have a lot of support! Help and good friends, loads of training, preparing and sacrifice. |
