What's it like in the Dozier house? I love my family: Mom, Dad,
sister (Melanie-she's 12). We have a lot of fun together. I have 2 Ridgeback
dogs (Samson and Sydney), 1 Doberman
When did you start racing? I started racing at 7 years old, but I got turned onto motocross when I was 3. My dad surprised me with a 50! He rode it right through our house popping a wheelie! That's when I got hooked. Tell us about your mechanic. Don Hudson works on my bikes at home. He's awesome! He makes my bikes run really good and he's a real nice guy! My Dad works on my bikes during races and stuff. What is Shannon like and how has he helped? Shannon is the coolest guy! He's really helped me get faster, stay focused, get better starts...EVERYTHING really (even better nutrition). These things are always in my head because of Shannon: "finger on the clutch", "sweet spot", "leg out", "elbows up", "up on the balls of your feet", and lots more. Thanks Shannon!! What is a typical day for you? Get up at 6:30, leave at 7:30 for school. I ride my 65 and 85 after school til dark. Then go home for dinner, homework and 20 minutes of reading. (BORING!) What do you do to get hyped and ready for your next moto? Just talk to my dad about the race. Do you do any other crossover sports? Not really. I like to do a little bit of everything-golf, fish, swim, and biking. If you had to pick any other sport to be pro at, what would you pick? NASCAR racing.
Favorite joke: There's a new kid down the street. Your mom tells
you to go meet him. You
What are your goals for 2005? To win Loretta's.
Give us a rundown of your most accomplished goals of the past few

Who do you want to thank? Mom, Dad, Melanie, Shannon, Don, Thor, Cycle Center of Denton, Shoei, Scott, J & M Racing, Pro Clean 1000, Excel Rims, and the Whartons. From the Parents What is Bryce's strongest trait? Perseverance. Describe his personality: Strong-willed, funny, witty, smart, quick learner, happy, loving and focused. (This is a NEW part of his personality!) What one thing have you tried to teach him? Be honest and respectful. Be a leader, not a follower. And to establish a strong work ethic (with plenty of fun) to help you achieve your goals. How has the sport of motocross help bring you family closer? It keeps us all together on the weekends(unless Melanie's cheer competitions and dance recitals conflict with races). We watch races, play board games, and watch movies together. If we were at home, we probably wouldn't all be doing the same things. Tell us about your most memorable road trip: 1st one is the time we went to Ponca City and had to sleep in the truck; another time we locked the keys in the motor home and tried to fit Bryce through the roof vent. And last but not least, we left Mom at the gas station once! |
